Jody Stecher & Kate Brislin: Home

WELCOME to the website of Jody Stecher and Kate Brislin. We have been singing together as a vocal duet, doing old-time music, early country, old-style bluegrass, recently composed songs, and some really old traditional folk songs since 1974 and playing guitar, mandolin, five-string banjo, and fiddle. Our recordings have been Indy winners and Grammy finalists. In time we may provide some commentary and information about our repertoire and the musicians who have inspired us. We are more or less "retired" from touring as a duo but are still singing, maybe better than ever. This website provides access to our music via our CDs, especially our brand new one, our first in ten years. We're very proud of it and have called it "Return".
